July 12th also saw Ian on drums with Picturebox for the “Sect On The Beach” one off mini music festival in Whitstable.
Reviewed in the Canterbury Times “standing in at short notice, Picturebox took to the stage. With influences ranging from Bob Dylan to Blur and Stereolab, the Sturry based band confidently delivered their own eclectic brand of lo-fi pop, with Ian Button on drums, Alex Williams on guitar and songwriter Robert Halcrow on bass and vocals. A well received performance, made all the more impressive since they were a man down.”
