BBC Two has confirmed that The Wrong Mans will return for a second series with Kevin Sargent already hard at work on the music.
James Corden and Mathew Baynton – his co-star and the show’s co-creator – will return for the new series, again produced and directed by Jim Field Smith.
The first series (which Kevin also wrote the music for) aired on BBC Two in late 2013 to positive reviews and a consolidated average of 3.3m viewers.
The six-parter followed bumbling council co-workers Sam Pinkett (Baynton) and Phil Bourne (Corden) as they became entangled in a web of crime, conspiracy and corruption.
Kevin is also currently writing the music for the new series of Mapp and Lucia for BBC One.
